Crowd Control
A crowd is like a living, breathing entity. It has a body and a brain. It also has a protective layer, either a skin or a shell. There are also various types of crowds that need controlling with various degrees of training and control. The wise law enforcement officer will recognize this and treat the crowd accordingly.

Many try to handle a crowd with techniques designed to be employed by massed Roman troops armed with spears and suffering no consequence for their actions. Modern crown control units are neither armed with spears or, their modern equivalent, bayonet tipped rifles. There are also laws and mores that determine how a modern crowd control force operates.

Using crowd control techniques advocated by the Koga Institute the officer will learn how to recognize the different types of crowds, what techniques will be most effective and how to employ those techniques. As with other parts of the Koga Method, used in conjunction with Arrest Control Techniques Koga Crowd Control Techniques, are effective and humane.
